# Creating Social Tokens

### Social Tokens

Social tokens represent a transformative form of digital assets uniquely tied to online communities, content creators, influencers, or brands. Unlike traditional cryptocurrencies, social tokens derive their value from community engagement, support, and the influence of individuals or entities within a particular ecosystem.

By enabling direct interaction and value exchange within communities, social tokens revolutionize the relationship between creators and their audiences. They empower individuals, foster engagement, and redefine the dynamics of online communities, emphasizing collaboration, support, and collective growth.
