Last updated 1 year ago

Channels within Qoneqt serve as specialized spaces where focused discussions, exclusive content, and unique interactions take centre stage. By offering a structured approach to content delivery and engagement, channels enhance the community experience and cater to specific interests or topics.

  1. Channel Category Creation:

  • Define Channel Category: Begin by establishing a distinct category for channels, for instance, naming it "TEST."

  • Category Finalization: Once the category name and details are confirmed, proceed to create channels within this defined category.

  1. Creating a Channel:

  • Select TEST Category: Under the designated category "TEST," choose the option to create a new channel.

  • Channel Name: Enter a unique name for the channel, distinguishing its purpose or theme

  1. Perks System in Channels:

    Perks Allocation:

    • Admin and Moderator Perks: Admins are initially allocated 10,000 perks, serving as the maximum limit for their perks within Qoneqt channels. Moderators receive 9,000 perks by default.

    • User Perks: Regular users start with 0 perks and must acquire them to access specific channels.

    • Minimum Perk Balance for Channel Access:

      • Admin Control: Admins, while creating a channel, can set a minimum perk balance required for users to join the channel.

      • Access Restriction: Users need to maintain the required minimum perk balance to access the channel. Those with insufficient perks can request additional perks from admins or moderators.

    • Perk Distribution Process:

      • Requesting Perks: Users can request admins or moderators to allocate additional perks required for channel access.

      • Admin/Moderator Discretion: Admins or moderators have the authority to distribute perks among users based on engagement, contributions, or specific criteria within the community.

    • Max Perks for Admins:

      • Limitation: Admins have a maximum limit of 10,000 perks, ensuring balance and fair distribution within the platform.

      • Ensuring Equity: This cap ensures fairness and prevents a disproportionate accumulation of perks by admins, fostering equitable channel access.

  2. Confirmation:

  • After inputting the channel name and perks, proceed with the creation process.

  • Upon successful completion, celebrate the successful creation of the channel within the specified category.
